Flow velocity and discharge measurement software using video footage

「Hydro-STIV Cloud」 is a flow velocity and discharge measurement system that uses video images and water level information. In addition to basic functions for measuring flow velocity and discharge, it is equipped with the latest measurement technology, such as a function to correct the wind effects and a function to calculate the velocity distribution of the cross section.

AI Enables High-speed and High Accuracy Measurement

AI (deep learning) enables more stable measurement than conventional methods. Highly accurate measurement can be performed with complete automatic analysis even when obstacles are in the image, such as when there is muddy water, heavy rain with high water, and there is a reflecting light at night and an infrared camera is used.

Comparison of flow velocity and discharge measurements by ADCP(Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler)and Hydro-STIV has confirmed that the measured discharge of the two only differs within about 5%
